Early Years Foundation Stage

At the Early Bird Pre-School every child is supported in developing to their full potential at their own pace.  By means of developmentally appropriate play activities and a high level of individual adult input, we offer a curriculum which enables the children to progress towards the early learning goals by the end of the foundation stage.

The Early Year's Foundation Stage is divided into four principles, A Unique Child, Positive Relationships, Enabling Environment and Learning and Development.  The learning and development principle is divided into six areas of learning as provide a framework for looking at your child's development that will be logged in their learning journey.
